Can I have my product sealed?

Sealers help protect your furniture especially if it is sitting outside in rainy or humid areas.  We do offer two types of sealers. 

A. Natural Raincoat:  This is an all natural sealer that will not change the color of the wood.   When you pour water on the pieces the water will bead up - this is an indication it is sealed.

B. Linseed Oil: This is our premier gloss sealer. It makes the furniture look richer and gives a depth to the original brownish color of the wood. It not only protects but holds the bark in place with a slight sheen and makes for a finished look. This sealer is a combination of boiled linseed oil, mineral spirits and Spar Urethane. (Spar Urethane is a high quality urethane and is especially made for outdoor furniture.)

It is not necessary to seal your furniture. Some customers will do it themselves or will leave it natural.  However, for very humid climates it is recommended. The cost for the Natural Raincoat sealer is 16% and the Linseed Oil is 18%. You can check the Finish Box for your product.  

How long will it take to ship my order?
We usually ship within 10 days. If you have a rush order let us know so we can work to accommodate your needs.
For larger orders or custom work call us for an estmate ship date.

Is it safe to use my credit card online?
When you send personal information, such as your credit card number, over the Internet it is not readable to anyone but us. We encrypt your information using the 'web standard' SSL (secure socket layer) technology. We use 128 bit encryption for 'super-secure' transmission. Many sites only use 40 bit encryption which has been shown to be relatively easy to break. Your browser will be in "secure mode" as you proceed to the online order form. When your browser is in secure mode, you will notice the padlock icon on your browser window is in the locked position. This indicates that all information exchanged between you and our server is scrambled. This encryption/decryption process takes a little extra time, so you might notice some slowdown in your browser's response times.

How do I place an order?
Select the item you wish to purchase. Press the "Add to Cart" button. The contents of your shopping cart will then be displayed. Next you can modify your shopping cart, continue shopping or proceed to checkout. When you checkout you will be prompted to fill in your billing and shipping information and choose your shipping preferences. Your order is successfully completed when the "thank you for your order" page is displayed with your order tracking number.

What happens after I place an order?
After you place your order, you will see a "Thank You" page that contains an order number. This is confirmation that your order has been successfully placed. Your order is then sent over a secure server to TwigFactory.com and will be processed and shipped usually within 48 hours. You will also receive a "Thank You" e-mail.

Can you customize products for me?
Yes we can. If you can describe or furnish us with a sketch we can give you a quote.
We can also make a bed for instance, to what ever mattress size you need.
We have also traveled to homes or cabins to do major remolding jobs.

Can I pay by check or money order?
Yes - but you will need to call us so we can accurately arrange for shipping. Then please send your check/money order to: "Twig Factory" 1501 Woodside Cir. Fairfield, IA 52556. Please include the product number, description and quantity of items you wish to purchase, along with your name, shipping address and phone number.

How can I check on the status of my order?

What is your return policy?
Twig Factoy offers a 15-Day Satisfaction Guarnatee on all orders from or product list. This does not include custom orders made to your specifications..

The item must be returned in the original condition in which it was originally received, and you will be responsible for the costs associated with the return shipping. You can contact us within the first 15 days after delivery to request a RO # (return authorazitation#) for any non-custom items you wish to return.

Once your order has been returned to our warehouse, it will be inspected to insure that it has not been abused or damaged. Once inspected, we will refund your purchase price.

What are our products made from?
Willow is a special plant, it grows year round and when cut, two or more shoots will grow out of the stump of the cut piece. It's very hardy and very stubborn, and when harvested properly will continue to grow year after year, cutting after cutting.

The willow that we use has been rescued and turned into beautiful and useful things. Birch bark is harvested from hollow dead trees that are still standing - The other wood in our products are mostly recycled materials. We pride ourselves as being a "Green Company". Please note that some of the diminisions may vary slightly due to the fact that each piece is individually made from natural wood products. Our twig furniture and accessories will bring you relaxation and peace of mind for many years to come.
